Stop-Frame Animation
Using a still camera or marks to take a photo of small movements. The video on the left is taken by a camera on a trip-pod. The video on the right is taken by using marks. Both videos are edited together and each frame is shortened to create a more flowing movement.
Gimbal POV
This was my first time using a gimbal. We used one for our phone and recorded different POVs thinking about different things like height, speed and head movements.
I really enjoyed working with the gimbal and will definitely use in the future if I work in film as it makes it so easy to keep it steady and limit camera shake even when running.
Premiere Pro
In a Friday workshop we were taught premiere pro to help with film and animation. We made a short clip of whatever we wanted to test editing, layering and sound. I chose to make a little Rochester video and play with screen transitions.
